Our Founder

Our founder is Jay Abbott, a licensed General Contractor with more than two decades of experience. Jay has been deeply engaged in property investments, maintenance, and renovations throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. Over the years, he has developed a profound understanding of the critical role exceptional service plays in every project. Holding a contractor’s license in the state of California, Jay has cultivated a wealth of expertise in the real estate industry, spanning more than 20 years.


In November 2024, Jay ventured on his own, creating his own company and building it with the extensive experience he possesses. Driven by a commitment to delivering excellence and a desire to provide exceptional service, Jay established Contractors & Beyond to meet the growing needs of homeowners, property managers, and investors.

Jay’s proficiency in renovation and property upkeep is unparalleled, having successfully completed over 650 projects for satisfied clients. His comprehensive knowledge makes him a trusted authority on all matters related to property renovation. In addition to his renovation expertise, Jay is a seasoned property investor, adept at managing budgets and timelines, with a dedicated focus on maximizing the profitability and longevity of every property he works on.


Outside of his professional achievements, Jay is a devoted husband and father of three children.
